Even with all of the cards I make, I find that sometimes I do not have the right sentiment for a certain occasion. To help myself out, I've started to make more blank cards on the outside where I can add the right sentiment on the inside right before I send it. I made a collection of these butterfly cards and left the front with no sentiment so I can use it for different occasions - thank you, thinking of you, happy birthday, and more. I simply add the perfect sentiment on the inside when the I'm ready to send it.

Fun Filmstrip

The filmstrip die in the On Film Framelits can be used to create fun filmstrips for any type of card. I needed a get well card and this die was perfect.

Pals Blog Hop

Welcome to the September Pals Blog Hop. This month we are showing off our favorite new products from the new Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. We hope you enjoy our projects!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Lynn Kolcun at Stamping with Avery's Owlery on the Pals Hop. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

For today's card I used a few of the new stamp sets from the holiday catalog. I love the trees from the White Christmas set, they can be used for so many types of cards. The house and sentiment are from the Holiday Home stamp set and I used the coordinating framelit dies to make the house pop out from the card.

The next stop is Natalie Bradley at Natalie Bradley Events on the Pals Blog Hop! Thanks for visiting and  I hope to see you next month.

Holiday Time at Stampin' Up!

It may be back to school for most of us, but it's also Holiday Time in the Stampin' Up! world. The new holiday catalog is now available.

One of my favorite new stamps in the new catalog is Holiday Home. I love the houses and the different ways you can decorate them with the various stamps. It also has a coordinating framelit set which makes cutting out the houses very easy. I have been making a lot of shaker cards recently so I used this new set to make a shaker holiday card. I have white sprinkles in the background to look like snow on the ground. The houses are on top of the clear sheet and I used an old snowflake stamp for the background.

Summer Projects

I took a bit of a break from my blog this summer. I have been crafting a lot but haven't been taken the time to post anything. I guess this was my break from homework and now that school has started, I'm back to blogging. Below are some of my recent cards. I have been having fun with shaker cards this summer and using my Big Shot and my Silhouette quite a bit. Enjoy.

The Stampin' Up! holiday calendar will be available on August 28th. Check back on Thursday to see the catalog! And a new sample of my favorite holiday stamp set.
